ABSTRACT
Coastal areas play a crucial role in sustaining life and providing recreational spaces. However, they face environmental threats, primarily from household waste pollution. Desa Teluk serves as a notable example, grappling with severe challenges due to this pollution. This research delves into collaborative efforts between the government and local communities to combat pollution, centering on waste management policy implementation. Despite existing regulations, effective synergy between the government and the community remains elusive in addressing pollution in Desa Teluk. This study aims to uncover their roles in combating coastal pollution, including waste management policy implementation, educational approaches, and participation in beach cleanup activities. The anticipated outcomes aspire to offer a deeper understanding of government-community collaboration as a crucial aspect in addressing pollution issues in Desa Teluk's coastal regions, aligning with the objectives of Presidential Regulation. The primary goal of this research is to provide a more comprehensive comprehension of joint efforts in combating pollution in Desa Teluk's coastal areas.
