The annual meeting of the MPR is held as an effort to provide space for state institutions to submit annual reports. The existence of the MPR annual session has experienced ups and downs, not only that, the difference between the annual sessions has also been highlighted in terms of constitutionality and legality. This article limits the scope of the analysis: First, What is the Urgency of the MPR Annual Session?. Second, what is the legal position of the MPR Annual Session in the perspective of Law - Invitation?. Third, what is the constitutionality of the MPR Annual Session? This article is expected to be able to contribute ideas to the legal standing and constitutionality of the MPR annual session. This article is a normative research. The results of the research are: the urgency of the MPR annual session is very important in an effort to provide space for state institutions to convey their responsibilities. Legally, the annual session of the MPR does not conflict with the laws and regulations. The MPR annual session has a constitutional basis in the form of implementing people's sovereignty, and ideally the MPR annual session does not only limit it to eight institutions but adds eight other constitutional institutions.
